Kechulada Studio is a one-person game studio in Chile. We collect the minimum information needed to run this website, to send you the newsletter if you ask for it, and to publish on our own social media accounts. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.
01Website
kechulada.studio is a static website. We use Umami, a cookie-free analytics service that does not identify people: it records page views, approximate country and device type, in aggregate. That is why the site shows no cookie banner.
02Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is stored in Buttondown, the service we use to send the newsletter, with double opt-in. We use it only to send you news about the studio and Kern Panic. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; when you use it, your address is deleted.
03Social media publishing and YouTube API Services
We publish on TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, X and Bluesky with a self-hosted tool (Postiz). That tool accesses only the studio's own accounts, through the authorization each platform grants, to schedule posts and read the statistics of our own posts. It does not access or store data from other users. For YouTube, the tool uses YouTube API Services: when the studio's channel is connected with its Google Account (OAuth), it obtains an access token that is stored encrypted on our server and used only to upload videos to the studio's channel and read the statistics of those videos. We do not share that data with anyone. By using the tool we agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) applies. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions) or by disconnecting the channel in the tool; when revoked, the token is deleted.
04Other people's data
We do not collect or keep information about people who interact with our social media posts beyond the aggregate statistics each platform shows. If you email us, we keep the message only to reply.
05Retention and deletion
Newsletter data is kept while you remain subscribed. Access tokens for the studio's social media accounts are stored on our server and revoked when the account is disconnected. You can ask us to delete any data about you by email; we reply within 30 days.
06Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the newsletter.
